I work as a comic book artist and an illustrator. Please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org, if you are interested in working together.
After graduating from Ringling College of Art + Design in 1993 with a BFA in Illustration, I loaded up the Jetta and moved to New York City - where I still live with my lovely wife and our houseplant Otto.
I recently self-published my first comic book Pork & Honey: The Bet and have more books on the way.
Art has been an activity I have always enjoyed. An early inspiration was Charles M. Schulz - I practically blazed a trail from my childhood home to the shelf in the local library that held the Peanuts collection.
Other artists who have inspired me over the years are Seth, Antonio López García, Paul Pope, Ben Shahn, Adrian Tomine, Vilhelm Hammershøi, Jean Giraud, and Ralph Steadman.
When not hunched over my drafting table clutching an inking brush, I can be found backpacking in the Adirondacks, at the climbing gym (trying to not embarrass myself), studying Norwegian or relaxing at the local cinema.
